Liverpool head into Sunday’s Premier League trip to Leicester City with just one absentee.
It’s an impressive situation at this stage of the season, and Arne Slot’s ability to select most of his first-choice XI this campaign has been a huge factor in the Reds establishing a monumental lead at the top of the table.
Liverpool holds a 13-point advantage over Arsenal with just six games left.
Arsenal faces Ipswich Town on Easter Sunday, just over two hours before Liverpool’s kicks off at the King Power.
He also provided an injury update on Trent Alexander-Arnold after the right-back was spotted in training this week for the first time since he suffered an ankle injury in Liverpool’s Champions League exit to Paris Saint-Germain on 11 March.
“Trent is coming back from an injury, he trained with us yesterday, and every time he plays with us and trains with us, he shows his commitment,” said Slot, in reference to the ongoing contract uncertainty surrounding Alexander-Arnold.
“[He is] not [ready] to start but if things go well today and tomorrow, he might be on the bench.
So he’s not able to start but hopefully he can be able to join us because for Conor [Bradley], he has been out for a long time, so for him to play 90 isn’t easy as well.”
Bradley is among those who have recently returned from injury, along with Alisson, and both started in last week’s win over West Ham United
Darwin Nunez should also return at Leicester after missing last time out due to illness.
In fact, the only player ruled out for certain is Joe Gomez
Gomez has been working to regain his fitness for several weeks and is expected to play some part before the end of the season, but isn’t available to face Leicester on Sunday.
