Despite fans calling for a new Alexander-Arnold contract, the Reds hierarchy are now drafting a list of possible replacements for the right-back, with Bayer Leverkusen’s Jeremie Frimpong high on Liverpool’s radar reportedly.
Those rumours however have since picked up pace after Frimpong was filmed making a Liverpool-related joke with Cody Gakpo whilst on international duty.
With that being said, it seems like Frimpong is already practicing his scouse accent ahead of any potential move.

While on international duty, Frimpong was captured by the Netherlands media team jokingly saying, “You’re alright, lad?” in a scouse accent – when greeting Gakpo to the Dutch camp.
With Frimpong’s Scouse joke adding fuel to the rumours, Liverpool would be wise to seriously consider the 24-year-old’s services this summer.
Quick, solid and bright going forward – Frimpong would be one the best options on the table if Alexander-Arnold were to leave Anfield.
