Alisson Becker and Caoimhin Kelleher were both pictured during training, while Harvey Davies was seen getting involved in a video posted by the club, which suggests Ojrzynski may have been involved as cover for Vitezslav Jaros, although nothing has been confirmed on that front yet.

That amount of effort might have had some players taking it easy for the next couple of days, but there was no sign of that from Szoboszlai, who was right back in the thick of things in training, and showing no sign of any ill effects from his efforts at the Etihad

The likes of Salah and Virgil van Dijk were clearly enjoying themselves as they got back down to work on Tuesday.

What was telling though was that it wasn't just the regular starters that were all smiles at the AXA Training Centre
