Erling Haaland

Undoubtedly the first on the list, Norwegian striker Erling Haaland would get into any team in the world thanks to his remarkable goalscoring record and ability.

Having won the last two Premier League golden boots, he already has seven goals in three games this season - including two hattricks.

Liverpool currently has Diogo Jota and Darwin Nunez in attack and while both are good options at this level, neither compare to the talent of Haaland, who has outscored both of them combined in his two Premier League campaigns.

Currently valued at around $199million (£152m/€180m) as per Transfermarkt, the 24-year-old would certainly cost a bomb, although City's need to sell in this scenario could perhaps lower that asking price, yet competition for his signature from other major clubs would ultimately raise it once more.

Nonetheless, there is no denying he'd be an impressive addition to Arne Slot's squad.

Even at 33-years-old, the Belgian is continuing to perform in the Premier League and there is no doubt he can continue to do so for a few more years, making him an unquestionable addition to Liverpool's midfield if presented with the chance.

Rodri

The man to solve Liverpool's defensive midfield conundrum and Slot's desperate need to find a new No.

Phil Foden

Perhaps controversial given Liverpool's already stacked attack, but Foden would no doubt be a great addition to any team and is arguably better than both Cody Gakpo and Luis Diaz at left-wing.

But the England international prefers to play in the No.10 role, something Liverpool don't often use, even if Dominik Szoboszlai sits a bit further forward than the rest of Slot's midfield

When Foden is on form, however, then not many would turn him down.

Ruben Dias

Last but not least, Man City center-back Ruben Dias would be a welcome addition to Liverpool's backline, having become a rock at the back for the Premier League champions throughout the recent title successes.

While not better than Virgil van Dijk, the Portuguese would certainly make the perfect defensive partner for the Dutchman and is better than Ibrahima Konate, who currently occupies that role
