Alexis Mac Allister has made it very clear that he wants to sign a new contract with Liverpool, but it does not seem as though that is a priority for the Reds. Before the 2-1 win over Atletico Madrid, Mac Allister told reporters at a press conference that he wants to sign a new deal.

I think right now I’m in the right club.” Now, reports from Spain suggest that Liverpool do not intend to renew Mac Allister’s contract, which will expire in 2028. Mac Allister, however, will at least generate a transfer fee for the Reds if he leaves at the end of the season compared to the free transfers TAA and Konate sealed.
