Liverpool defender Trent Alexander-Arnold has reportedly 'agreed' to join Real Madrid this summer and his signing is '99 per cent done'.
That's according to Spanish publication AS, via Sport Witness, who are reporting that the full-back has agreed 'all details of the agreement' and only his signing is 'missing for it to be made official'.
Alexander-Arnold has long been linked with a move to the Santiago Bernabeu as his Reds contract is set to expire in the summer.
As reported by the ECHO back in December, Liverpool also rejected Real’s attempt to sign Alexander-Arnold in the January window.
The Alexander-Arnold situation continues to be without a long-term solution, as do the situations that Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk find themselves in.
Their contracts are also set to expire in the coming months.

Alexander-Arnold has spent 21 years with the Reds after progressing through the club's academy before cementing himself as a regular first-team star, making 349 appearances in total.
The defender is currently sidelined due to injury, but Reds boss Arne Slot recently revealed he expects him to return before the end of the season.
“Trent is indeed not available.
I have control over what I expect from them on the pitch and I’m really pleased to see what Trent, Mo and Virgil bring on the pitch.”
