Liverpool boosted their Premier League title bid on Sunday afternoon as they overcame Wolverhampton Wanderers to move back to seven points clear of second-placed Arsenal.
Goals from Luis Diaz and Mohamed Salah saw the Reds pick up a crucial three points.
Just over 24 hours earlier, Arsenal had cut the gap to four points with two late goals against Leicester City in a 2-0 win.
It therefore required a response from Liverpool in Sunday’s game.
Arne Slot’s men found themselves 2-0 up before half time, but Matheus Cunha’s 67th minute strike meant that they had to withstand late pressure from Wolves to take all three points from the match.
The final whistle was met with a feeling of somewhat relief.
