Liverpool midfielder Alexis Mac Allister has praised manager Arne Slot for his impact on the team's performances this season.

Mac Allister recently shed light on the tactical changes under Slot, comparing them to the methods of Klopp.



The midfielder also pointed out a key difference this season: despite the injury woes plaguing top rivals like Arsenal, Manchester City, and Tottenham, Liverpool has managed to keep injuries at bay.

Under Klopp, Liverpool was known for its high-intensity pressing system, but under Slot, the team has adopted a more patient, possession-based style of football.

This shift has allowed the players to conserve energy during matches, leading to less fatigue and, as a result, fewer injuries.

Speaking to La Media Inglesa, Mac Allister said: "I think the main difference is that before we were a very, very direct team and today we’re a team where we try to be a little more patient and a little more possessive.
