Real Madrid are reportedly in love with Alexis Mac Allister, according to the latest report from Spain.

What a season Mac Allister is having!

The Argentine midfielder has been one of the club’s key figures this season.

He has played 45 times in all competitions for Liverpool this season, scoring six times and registering five assists.

Arne Slot truly trusts the 26-year-old, and he is thriving under the Dutchman.

This campaign, his partnership with Ryan Gravenberch in Slot’s 4-2-3-1 has been transformative—the duo averages 12.7 combined progressive carries per game, the highest in Europe’s top five leagues.

Even the player’s father recently revealed his commitment to the Reds, declaring that moving to Liverpool has been one of the things that happened to him.

“For now, I don’t think he’ll leave Liverpool,” Mac Allister senior said last week.

“Time will tell.

I think it’s been the best thing that’s happened to him, and that’s why the adaptation was easier.”

Despite his importance to Slot, and his father’s insistence that he loves the club, reports in Spain is linking him with a move to Real Madrid.

A recent report in Marca revealed that the midfielder is being discussed at Real Madrid.

“The Argentine midfielder is one of the names that has surfaced in recent talks at Valdebebas,” the report stated.

“One of the many players who could be considered attractive to Real Madrid due to his quality.

As with so many others, he is being studied, amid a debate about whether or not he is what the Whites need to improve and put the lack of football seen during many phases of this season behind them.”

And now, Spanish journalist Jose Felix Diaz has added even more fuel to the news, claiming that Carlo Ancelotti’s side loves the player and want to sign him ahead of former Liverpool target Martin Zubimendi.

The Spanish giants were said to be interested in signing Zubimendi earlier?

But according to Jose (via Ruben Martin YouTube), he no longer features in their plans, with Los Blancos now keen on Mac Allister instead.

Despite Real Madrid’s strong pull, a deal for Mac Allister will not be easy to pull off, considering that the 26-year-old is a key player for Liverpool and would likely command a sizeable fee.
