Liverpool’s midfield magician, Alexis Mac Allister, has opened up on what he wants to add more often to his game.

While the Argentine has been crucial to Arne Slot’s plans this season, it’s clear he’s still hungry to do more — especially in the final third.

After a tough 3-2 defeat to Fulham, which saw Mac Allister fire in a stunning strike from distance, Liverpool are preparing to bounce back against West Ham this weekend.

With no midweek games, the Reds have enjoyed a rare full week of training — something Mac Allister believes can make a real difference.

Although he doesn’t set personal targets before a season, the No.10 admitted he enjoys contributing goals and assists.

“I would love to score more and assist more,” Mac Allister revealed.

While Mac Allister says they work on shooting in training, he admitted, “At that moment it came to my mind and I just thought about shooting.”

As Liverpool prepare to face Graham Potter’s West Ham — a side Mac Allister knows well — he expects a tough battle but remains confident.

“We expect a really hard game… hopefully we can get the three points.”

With just four Anfield games left this season, Mac Allister called on the fans to bring their energy once again.

After all, every match now feels like a cup final as the title race heats up.
