Alexis Mac Allister has no intention of leaving Liverpool in the near future according to the player’s father, Carlos.
The World Cup winner joined the Reds in a £35m deal from Brighton & Hove Albion in the summer of 2023 and has established himself as a virtual ever-present in his two seasons at Anfield.
Making 90 appearances for Liverpool to date, returning 13 goals and 11 assists, the 26-year-old has missed just one Premier League match this season - through suspension - and looks set to help the Reds win the title.

Mac Allister has been a star performer for Liverpool this season, with his form not going unnoticed.
The Argentine has been linked with a move to Real Madrid, while he has previously admitted an interest in playing in La Liga in the future.
But Carlos Mac Allister has played down the possibility of his son leaving Liverpool anytime soon, insisting the midfielder is happy at Anfield.
“For now, I don't think so.
I think it's been the best thing he's had, and that's why the adaptation was easier.”
Meanwhile, Mac Allister Snr also opened up on holding transfer talks with former Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp prior to his son’s move to Anfield, admitting he left the translator stunned on one occasion after offering advice to the German following the Reds’ 5-2 defeat to Real Madrid.
“The first meeting was with me to explain what he saw in Alexis and why he wanted him,” Mac Allister Snr revealed in an interview with Fernando Niembro on Picado TV, as quoted by Bolavip.
“We had a very nice conversation there.
“There's a very powerful anecdote, but I can't share it because it involves bad language, and I've never told it before.
“When we were talking in that first meeting, I don't speak English, and there was a translator who works at the club.
“He told me what I saw after losing 5-2 to Real Madrid, and I told him they had a major problem because the players have to understand that you mark the way you do it.
“The translator saw me and told me I couldn't tell him that, and I told him to tell him because I was going to explain it to him.
That's when we began to build a relationship with him.
“We met again, and he called Alexis to tell him he was happy, and so much so that he publicly acknowledged what Alexis is and the appreciation of a family that comes from football.
“When my children were seven years old, they watched football, and I think that upbringing helped them a little, but their most important upbringing was at Argentinos Juniors.”
