Carlos also shared a fun story about his first meeting with then-Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp.

The pair had a discussion shortly after Liverpool lost 5-2 to Real Madrid.

Though he didn’t speak English fluently, Carlos didn’t hold back his thoughts.

“I told him they had a major problem,” Carlos recalled.

Klopp later called Alexis directly and praised his talent and football upbringing.
