Even though the Premier League title is effectively secured, Liverpool supporters have been watching the updates come in from the international break with unease.
Injury concerns, it seems, are never far away.
The Reds had a week to forget before the break, as they were knocked out of the Champions League by Paris Saint-Germain and lost the League Cup final to Newcastle United.
The goalkeeper has since left the squad and has eased any fears over his condition with an update on social media.
"I'm fine," he said on Instagram.
The midfielder is one a number of Liverpool players to look leggy in recent weeks.
Konate was withdrawn during France's clash with Croatia, with Les Bleus' X account suggesting the change was due to a fitness issue.
However, after the game manager Didier Deschamps hinted the call was due to the player's performance.
"I know it's tough, but I saw him struggling, not at his best, so I preferred to substitute him," he said.
Liverpool had four other injury concerns before the international break, although it's unlikely any will be available for the Merseyside derby.
Trent Alexander-Arnold suffered an ankle injury against PSG and missed the Carabao Cup final.
The right-back is expected to play again this season, but could be out for weeks.
The same goes for Conor Bradley, who was left out of the Northern Ireland squad.
