Liverpool can win the Premier League title this weekend.
The Reds are on the verge of securing their second top-flight title in five years but would need Arsenal to lose against Ipswich Town and ensure they beat Leicester City for their fate to be confirmed on Sunday afternoon.
With this in mind, the ECHO have taken a look at some of the latest stories concerning the club.
New contract for Jaros
The ECHO understands that goalkeeper Vitezslav Jaros is now in line for a new deal, having spent the 2024/25 season serving as the club's third-choice shot-stopper following the departure of Adrian last summer.
The Czechia international made his Premier League debut as a late substitute away at Crystal Palace back in October after first-choice Alisson Becker suffered a hamstring injury.
He then made his full debut for the Reds against Brighton & Hove Albion in the League Cup later that month.
While that remains the limit of his senior involvement this season, the 23-year-old’s hard work has not gone unnoticed and he is in line for a new contract as a result.
Alisson transfer talks
Turkiye Gazetesi report that Galatasaray have been talking with Alisson's representatives to sound out the prospect of a summer move, but the Turkish giants did not get the answer they were hoping for.
The Liverpool goalkeeper has two years left on his contract at Anfield but there has been some speculation that he could move on, with Giorgi Mamardashvili set to join the Reds from Valencia before the start of next season.
And although Galatasaray have been exploring a possible move for the Brazilian, his eye-watering demands appear to have put the the Istanbul outfit off.
It's reported by the Turkish outlet that Alisson would want a whopping £21.33m per year if he were to join them this summer.
That is not the sort of contract Galatasaray could realistically afford to underwrite, effectively ending their interest.
