Liverpool have to pick themselves up after conceding a late goal to draw Wednesday’s Merseyside Derby.
The Reds thought they had won the game after Mohamed Salah fired home with less than 20 minutes to go.
However, Everton rallied and saw James Tarkowski pop up with a last-second equaliser.
It was a blow for Liverpool, who were moments away from putting themselves nine points clear at the top of the Premier League table.
In reality, the Reds would have scarcely deserved the three points.
Just as they were at Plymouth on Sunday, too many Liverpool players were not at the races during the Merseyside Derby.
An exception to that rule was Alexis Mac Allister.
The Argentine headed home a beautiful equaliser for the Reds and speaking after the game, Conor Bradley hailed Mac Allister’s fighting spirit.

Liverpool knew they’d be in for a fight during the final ever Merseyside Derby at Goodison Park.
Judging by the scenes on the pitch after the match, that is exactly what they got, just ask Curtis Jones!

During the game itself, it was not so much blood and thunder, but Everton certainly made it a throwback in terms of their approach.
Perhaps used to playing football in a slightly more serene setting, many Liverpool players did not take to that especially well.
Mac Allister did, though, and speaking to LFCTV about the World Cup-winner post-game, Bradley hailed his teammate.

“I thought Macca was brilliant,” raved the Northern Irishman.
“I think he’s brilliant in every game for us.
I thought he was brilliant tonight.”
Given that Mac Allister is one of the shortest players in the Liverpool squad, he is not someone you’d necessarily back in a fight like the one Everton brought to the Reds on Wednesday.
But the 26-year-old has shown time and time again that he is the man for the big occasion.
He may not score many, but Mac Allister can be counted upon to show up when the stakes are the highest.
Three of his four goals this season have come against Real Madrid, Tottenham and Everton, with the latter two being scored in big moments away from home.
Add a pressure penalty against Man City last season into the mix and a picture is forming of Mac Allister as a little man who turns up when the going gets tough.
