Liverpool youngster Amara Nallo has taken to social media after making his debut in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday.
The teenager was among several Liverpool youngsters who travelled to Eindhoven for the club’s last league phase game against PSV on Wednesday.
With several of the Reds’ senior players given a day off, Arne Slot named a staring XI full of some of the club’s youngsters against PSV.
Amara Nallo was named on the bench in the 3-2 loss.
With Liverpool looking for a way back in the game after throwing away a one-goal lead twice, Slot subbed on Nallo, with the 18-year-old defender replacing fellow youngster Jayden Danns in the 83rd minute for his Champions League debut.
However, his night went from good to bad in less than three minutes after he was shown a straight red card in the 87th minute.
The booking made him the youngest-ever Liverpool player to be given a red card.

On Thursday, the Liverpool youngster posted a message on social media thanking the fans for their support during his debut.
“Delighted to have made my Champions League debut for @liverpoolfc?
Thanks for the support,” he wrote.
Despite Nallo’s red card, it would have been a night to remember for the young defender.
The 18-year-old is highly rated at the club and is often seen training with the first-team stars.
He will certainly have many more opportunities to show his quality, with Slot keen to reward hard work.
However, he could be one of the few youngsters who will head out on loan this January in search of more game tine and experience.
