Andy Robertson has given Liverpool fans more encouragement over the futures of Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk, having insisted the club’s senior players want to stay.

As things stand, both Salah and Van Dijk will leave Anfield for nothing in the summer alongside Trent Alexander-Arnold, with all three players set to see their contracts expire at the end of the season.

Van Dijk admitted following the Champions League defeat to Paris Saint-Germain during the week that he still has “no idea”what his future holds, while Salah has dropped several hints this season that he could be in his final year at Anfield.



"I think you see the age of the players who have been here a long time, there's a few of us in our thirties.
