Scotland skipper Andy Robertson still has a future at Liverpool beyond this season, according to a former Reds star.
An ankle injury picked up on Scotland duty almost a year ago has plagued the full-back this season, with the 30-year-old admitting he's been playing through the pain barrier for club and country.
And a new left-back is said to be a top priority for boss Arne Slot, with Robbo set to turn 31 in March and back-up Kostas Tsimikas yet to fully convince at the Premier League giants.
However, former Liverpool forward Stan Collymore believes Robertson still has two good seasons in him on Merseyside if he can adapt his style to deal with the impact of injuries.
Speaking to William Hill Vegas, Collymore said: "Andy Robertson is a Liverpool legend, but time waits for no man.
He doesn’t do that quite as often anymore, so he needs to manage his workload.
“I still think Robertson has a couple of years left at Liverpool as a very solid full-back.
Robertson is looking to become a Premier League winner for the second time.
Robbo, capped 80 times for Scotland, was a key player as Liverpool won the Premier League in 2020 - their first English top-flight title for 30 years.
