Andy Robertson is adamant his Anfield career isn't approaching the end despite Liverpool being linked with "pretty much every left-back in the world".

The Reds are expected to overhaul their squad in the summer with the left side of the defence having long been touted as an area for reinforcement.

Liverpool are interested in 21-year-old Bournemouth left-back Milos Kerkez while keeping tabs on a number of other potential options ahead of the forthcoming transfer window.

Robertson, who turned 31 earlier this month, has had an inconsistent campaign while Kostas Tsimikas has started only five Premier League games since December 2023.

But Robertson is determined to make himself difficult to shift from the starting line-up and believes criticism of his performances this term has been excessive.

“I think we’ve been linked with pretty much every left-back in the world,” he said.

I look back on these eight years I’ve had here as the starting left-back at that club and I feel a lot of pride.

“Your time comes and I don’t think it’s my time yet, but even if we do bring someone in, then so be it.

I think I’ve had a relatively good season, but one thing people will say about me is that I’ve been pretty consistent, so when you make a couple of mistakes, then people can talk.

“That’s the world we live in, that’s the Premier League.

I’ve shown that right throughout my career, but especially during my time at Liverpool.”

Robertson is with the Scotland squad for their UEFA Nations League double-header against Greece.

"But it’s always great to meet up with the Scotland lads, always an honour, always good to see fresh faces and take a break from a really intense time at Liverpool.
