Mohamed Salah is set to leave Liverpool at the end of this season, with the Reds yet to reach an agreement on a new contract for the winger.
The 32-year-old forward has arguably been the best player in Europe this season with Salah registering 24 goal contributions in 20 games for Liverpool, who sit top of the Premier League and the UEFA Champions League standings.
With Salah admitting that Sunday’s win against Manchester City could be his last at Anfield against Pep Guardiola’s side, the Egyptian international seems no closer to signing an extension with the Merseyside giants despite his apparent eagerness.
Yet one player who Liverpool are eyeing to replace Salah could also be leaving his club in 2025.

According to Florian Plettenberg, Eintracht Frankfurt are expecting Omar Marmoush to depart next season, with the journalist posting: “An incredible season from Omar Marmoush.
Tonight, he scored two more goals against Heidenheim, bringing his total to 13 goals this season.
“Eintracht Frankfurt remain keen on extending his contract beyond 2027, but a summer transfer in summer appears likely.
Liverpool are showing concrete interest, while top clubs like Manchester United and FC Bayern are monitoring his situation.”

Marmoush has been strongly linked with a move to Liverpool next year with the 23-year-old winger viewed as the ideal replacement for Salah, with the Egyptian attacker an international teammate of the Anfield superstar.
With Marmoush also dreaming of playing for Liverpool, the stars could align for the Bundesliga superstar to move to Merseyside if Salah does indeed leave next summer, with the young forward ticking all the boxes for what Arne Slot is looking for in a wide-attacker.

Replacing Salah could be an impossible task for Liverpool this summer if the former AS Roma star ends up leaving Anfield for good at the end of this season, with the winger at the peak of his powers.

However, when comparing Salah’s stats to Marmoush, the Frankfurt star actually excels the Liverpool no.
11 when it comes to overall goal contributions, with the 23-year-old scoring four more goals in one less game.
Indeed, coming from the Bundesliga to the Premier League is often a difficult transition, but with Marmoush seemingly a perfect fit for Liverpool, the forward could have no trouble adapting to life on Merseyside if the youngster is signed to replace Salah.
