Darwin Nunez has both thrilled and frustrated supporters in equal measure during his time at Liverpool, claiming the spotlight for all sorts of reasons.

Head coach Arne Slot made the call to replace Diogo Jota with Nunez with a hour gone - hoping to provide a different threat to the Villa defence after Trent Alexander-Arnold's equaliser.

Nunez missed a gilt-edged chance, shooting over the crossbar when faced with an open net courtesy of Dominic Szoboslai's unselfish pass.
