Arne Slot has lauded Manchester United and Arsenal target Matheus Cunha as he disagreed with Jamie Carragher's verdict on the Wolves striker.
Cunha was believed to be on the radar of both United and the Gunners in January.
He has also been linked with Tottenham and Chelsea.
Cunha, who charmed Gunners fans earlier this season by posing for pictures outside the Emirates, is now focused on his side's trip to Anfield on Sunday when he could do Mikel Arteta's side a big favourite in the title race.
Ahead of the game, Slot issued a glowing verdict on Cunha, saying: "Cunha is a quality player.
Matheus Cunha is a wanted man.
I'm not sure where he would play for Arsenal."
Meanwhile, Arteta has been left considering free agents to bolster his attacking options after Kai Havertz joined the long list of absentees, suffering a season-ending injury during the club's training camp in Dubai.
Asked if he would consider signing a free agent, the Gunners boss said: "We'll explore every possible situation and make a decision from there."
While Arteta remains open-minded about free transfers, finding a suitable player capable of making an impact on a title chase seems challenging.
One of the few high-profile free agents is ex-Arsenal star Carlos Vela, who is now 35.
