There is currently a lot of talk around Liverpool about Trent Alexander-Arnold.
The full-back is one of Liverpool’s most important players, yet, the Merseyside club have not reached an agreement with the 26-year-old over a new contract with his current deal expiring at the end of the season.
Real Madrid are heavily pursuing Alexander-Arnold and are watching his situation at the Premier League leaders closely.
Many Liverpool fans have the feeling that they could lose the defender to the La Liga champions this summer and Michael Owen does not like the signs within Alexander-Arnold’s situation.
With the 26-year-old’s future up in the air, Alexander-Arnold may have started his last game for Liverpool after the most recent update on his injury.

Alexander-Arnold picked up an injury issue with his ankle during the second half of last week’s Champions League clash with Paris Saint-Germain.
This forced the full-back to miss Sunday’s Carabao Cup final defeat to Newcastle United at Wembley with Micah Richards adamant that Liverpool needed Alexander-Arnold on the day.
According to The Athletic, there is no timeline on when the right-back will return to action for Liverpool, however, the player is targeting a return by the end of April.

This could see the England international miss the Merseyside derby at Anfield on April 2; as well as games against Fulham, West Ham and Leicester City.
With just nine games remaining this season, there is a case to be for Alexander-Arnold having already started his last game for Liverpool.
Should Alexander-Arnold miss the next four games for Liverpool, the right-back could return to action with the Premier League title already wrapped up.
Therefore, with nothing to play for and with the defender set to move to Real Madrid during the summer, Arne Slot could get a head start for the 2025/26 campaign by starting Conor Bradley for the rest of the season as the Northern Ireland star looks set to return from his fitness issue for the Everton clash.
