After a rare defeat last weekend, this week has gone about as well as it could've done for Liverpool.
Mohamed Salah's new contract was teased in the week and the confirmed on Friday before Arne Slot's press conference.
Virgil van Dijk is expected to follow the Reds forward in signing a two-year deal too.
On the injury front there have been some positive developments too, with Slot sharing encouraging updates on two of his first-team stars.

Alisson Becker has missed the previous two games after going through concussion protocols after a head injury while on international duty for Brazil.
Ahead of the game, Slot spoke about what he thinks the full-back adds.
"Of course it's a boost, it's always a boost when quality players come back," he said.
"Especially quality players in that position, because I think Curtis Jones is a quality player but it's not his favourite position.
"To have a player in his favourite position is always, not always, but it might be better for the team.
And Conor has done so well for us this season, just like Trent [Alexander-Arnold].
But when Trent isn't there, you always hope to look behind you and see that Conor is available."
