But Slot was keen to downplay the significance of Sunday's game when speaking in his pre-match press conference: "That’s a big responsibility because we are aware of the fact that the last time this team won the league was in Covid.

That they support us as they have done all season because we still need a point.

It’s a nice game to look forward to.

Asked if he was ready for the possible emotion of Sunday: "First there’s a game to be played against a Tottenham side that is playing for something special in Europe.

They want to prepare in the best way possible.

We focus on the next opponent and we will prepare the team in the same way as we have all season."
