Liverpool head coach Arne Slot has said he will prepare his team as normal ahead of Sunday's possible Premier League victory this weekend
The Reds need just a point on Sunday against Tottenham Hotspur to be crowned Premier League champions.
Arsenal's midweek slip-up against Crystal Palace - its sixth in nine league matches - means the Gunners can now only match Liverpool's current points tally of 79.
It means just a point from the final five matches is required to earn a 20th top-flight title.
But Slot was keen to downplay the significance of Sunday's game when speaking in his pre-match press conference: "That’s a big responsibility because we are aware of the fact that the last time this team won the league was in Covid.
That they support us as they have done all season because we still need a point.
It’s a nice game to look forward to.
Asked if he was ready for the possible emotion of Sunday: "First there’s a game to be played against a Tottenham side that is playing for something special in Europe.
They want to prepare in the best way possible.
We focus on the next opponent and we will prepare the team in the same way as we have all season."
