Liverpool head coach Arne Slot was pleased with how his side performed in its game with Aston Villa in the Premier League.

Drawing 2-2 at Villa Park, the Reds moved eight points clear at the top but has now played one more match than Arsenal.

"It was a great game," Slot told the BBC.

"I felt we defended well but I can't come up with a lot of Villa chances.

We scored two good goals and created enough chances to get the winner."
