Liverpool's pursuit of Bologna defender Sam Beukema has reportedly hit a stumbling block.
Recent reports have indicated the Reds have had an offer rejected for the centre-back.
According to reports via 1000 Cuori Rossoblu, Bologna have turned down an offer from Liverpool's for Beukema, who has impressed since joining the Italian club last season.
The Dutch's solid performances have earned him praise across Europe, attracting interest from multiple clubs.

Slot also jokingly suggested that Beukema made a questionable decision by joining Bologna over Feyenoord, especially after his former team went on to win the Eredivisie title in 2023.
"I think he chose the wrong club, because Feyenoord did a lot better than AZ [Alkmaar]," Slot added.
Beukema is reportedly eager to take the next step in his career and follow in the footsteps of former teammates such as Joshua Zirkzee and Riccardo Calafiori.

"I think he is one of the best coaches in the Netherlands and Europe
