Liverpool are still being linked with a move for Bayer Leverkusen defender Jeremie Frimpong.
Sky Sports journalist Sacha Tavolieri has reported that Slot is determined to sign the right-back when the transfer window opens in the summer.
The report claims that Liverpool view Frimpong as a potential replacement for Trent Alexander-Arnold, who continues to be linked with a move to Real Madrid.
It has been reported that Slot has already been in "direct contact" with Frimpong's representatives to try and convince the player to move to Anfield at the end of the season.
Liverpool are continuing to be linked with a move for Bournemouth left-back Milos Kerkez.
The ECHO understands that the Reds do have an interest in signing Kerkez, although the left-back is not the only player on their shortlist.
Give Me Sport have reported that Liverpool are "expected" to complete the signing of Kerkez this summer when the transfer window opens.
