Arne Slot believes Marcus Rashford is too good to not find top form again - but hopes the Aston Villa attacker doesn’t bring his best against Liverpool on Wednesday.
The Reds travel to Villa Park with the chance to move 10 points clear of Arsenal at the top of the Premier League table.
On-loan Manchester United forward Rashford is pushing for his first start for Villa after showing an upturn in performance in his two substitute appearances for his new club so far.
The United academy product was told by boss Ruben Amorim that his training performances were not good enough and he was exiled from the first-team squad on match days since December before he secured a loan move to Villa.
Slot said: "I know Marcus Rashford as I follow the Premier League and first time I faced him was in USA tour and was really impressed with how fast he is, nice height and comfortable on the ball!
Rashford is hoping to make his first Aston Villa start against Slot's Liverpool this week.
