Liverpool have another away game to prepare for just three days on from facing Arsenal in North London.
Having travelled back to Merseyside following Sunday’s match, the Reds will head back down South to play Brighton on Wednesday.
It is the first of a Carabao Cup and Premier League double-header against the Seagulls as Liverpool continue their defence of the final trophy won under Jurgen Klopp.
In the midst of a difficult fixture list for Liverpool, though, it looks like Arne Slot will have little choice but to employ some heavy rotation at the Amex Stadium.
Already in the knowledge that Federico Chiesa has been ruled out along with Diogo Jota, Alisson Becker and Harvey Elliott, Slot looks set to dip into the Liverpool academy to complete his starting XI.
Here’s how we expect to see the Liverpool head coach line his team up on Wednesday.

Slot confirmed in his pre-match press conference that he is yet to decide upon who to play in goal against Brighton.
As a result, we think the Dutchman is perhaps leaning towards Vitezslav Jaros replacing Caoimhin Kelleher and we’re backing the 23-year-old to get his first start in a Liverpool shirt.
MORE LIVERPOOL STORIES
It looks very likely to be an inexperienced back four in front of Jaros, although Joe Gomez and Jarell Quansah can at least form a good-looking centre-back partnership.
Kostas Tsimikas has been playing well lately, too, and the Greek is surely one of the more secure names on this team sheet.
Right-back poses a real problem for Slot, though.
Trent Alexander-Arnold won’t start again while Conor Bradley is only just back in training.
We might see Bradley, but we think Slot may instead ask Tyler Morton to do a job out of position on the right of the defence.

With Elliott still out for a couple more weeks, Liverpool’s midfield options are looking extremely thin heading into this game.
Slot confirmed that Wataru Endo is likely to start, though, and it feels probable that Endo will be joined by one of Liverpool’s more regular quartet of Curtis Jones, Alexis Mac Allister, Ryan Gravenberch and Dominik Szoboszlai.
Given that he played just minutes at the weekend, we can only see Szoboszlai being the man chosen to play the more advanced role.
Slot could choose to play a second one of the four for a stronger look to the team, but we fancy young Trey Nyoni to get a well deserved first senior start for Liverpool.
If Slot has one or two options to rotate his regular team in defence and midfield, then attack is a slightly different story.
Mohamed Salah will surely be the one given a rest from Sunday, with Luis Diaz likely to come in on Liverpool’s left.
Other than that, however, the absence of Chiesa and Jota means that the Reds are probably going to have to ask Cody Gakpo and Darwin Nunez to go from the start once again.
With Brighton coming to Anfield on Saturday and then a big clash with Bayer Leverkusen next midweek.
That is not ideal.
Liverpool’s predicted XI vs Brighton: Jaros; Morton, Gomez, Quansah, Tsimikas; Nyoni, Endo, Szoboszlai; Diaz, Nunez, Gakpo
