Arne Slot has made continuity the name of the game at Liverpool in many ways.
With Liverpool top of the Premier League, we're yet to see any obvious adverse effects, but the proof will be in the pudding as the campaign goes on.
Over the summer, Liverpool advertised for a set piece coach.
It's clearly an area of the game Slot and his staff have no intention of neglecting.
However, per The Athletic, he has decided to go without the services of Neuro11.
It's early days in the Premier League season, but Liverpool is currently down in 14th, having scored once from a set piece (Arsenal leads the way with three).
While it is far too early to draw anything by way of conclusions, that does come amid the end of the club's relationship with Neuro11.
The partnership expired in May, and Slot reportedly elected not to renew it.
If nothing else, with many of the same players still at the club, you'd assume the benefits of the collaboration would still be ongoing now despite their departure.
Having said that, it's certainly an interesting decision from Slot, one that breaks with the narrative of continuity above all else
