Arne Slot will conduct his typical pre-match press conference ahead of Liverpool’s game against West Ham this weekend
Liverpool FC is set to face the Hammers at Anfield this Sunday, with kickoff scheduled for 2:00 PM BST.
The Reds enter the tie on the back of a disappointing result, after a 3-2 loss to Fulham in their last outing.
Despite taking the lead at Craven Cottage last Sunday, Arne Slot’s men conceded three first-half goals to lose their second league game of the season.
The loss was Liverpool’s third in the last four games (W1), suggesting that the Reds are imploding towards the end of the season.
But unlike the defeats in the UEFA Champions League and the Carabao Cup final that extinguished those trophy bids, Liverpool will see any setbacks in the Premier League as simply delaying the inevitable since they still boast an 11-point lead over Arsenal pre-round with just seven games remaining.
Four of those games are at Anfield, and the Reds will be confident of getting over the line on their home form alone, having dropped points just three times on their own turf in the league this season (W12, D2, L1).
The arrival of West Ham should have the Kop in good spirits since Liverpool have lost just one of their last 57 home H2Hs (W42, D14), winning each of the last nine.
Meanwhile, West Ham arrive in less than favourable form, having won none of their last four league outings (D2, L2).
The Hammers remain in 16th place and are on course for their joint-worst Premier League finish since returning to the division in 2012.
Having already lost twice to Liverpool this season by a combined score of 10-1, they will be desperate to get something here.
However, hitting the road doesn’t appear as it’ll do West Ham any favours as they’ve won just four of their last 21 away games in all competitions (D5, L12).
Liverpool coach Arne Slot will sit down with the media to answer questions ahead of the clash against West Ham.
