The exact punishment for Arne Slot and his red card against Everton has now been revealed.
On February 14, the FA charged:
Everton and Liverpool for failing to control players and staff post-match.
Slot for “improper manner and/or abusive words” toward Oliver and an assistant.
Now Paul Joyce has revealed the punishment Arne Slot has received from the FA for his red card offence:
“Arne Slot will serve a two-match touchline ban beginning tonight v Newcastle United as punishment for confronting match officials following Everton game,” Joyce wrote on X
“Also fined £70,000?
Assistant Sipke Hulshoff also banned for two matches and fined £7,000
Everton and Liverpool fined £65,000 and £50,000 respectively for failing to control players.”
