Arne Slot admitted that Alisson bailed his teammates out in Liverpool’s 2-1 win over West Ham United on Sunday.
The Reds earned a victory thanks to goals from Luis Diaz and Virgil van Dijk, with the latter netting in the 89th minute, after his defensive mix up with Andy Robertson just a few moments before had handed West Ham a late lifeline.
“First half we did really well, good tempo and good movement - maybe we should have scored a second,” he told BBC’s Match of the Day.
They could have scored two or three in two or three moments like last week when in 15 minutes Fulham scored three.
“Today we were lucky that Alisson saved a few times really well.

Speaking separately in his press conference, Slot added that Alisson “probably had his best game of the season today”.
Liverpool’s win moves it another step closer to claiming the Premier League title
