The Rotterdam club has announced it has fired manager Brian Priske, with the decision coming due to “very inconsistent results and a lack of chemistry”.

Priske is followed out of the exit door by his assistants Lukas Babalola Andersson and Bjorn Hamberg, with Feyenoord expecting to announce a new interim staff on Tuesday.

Having finished runner-up to PSV Eindhoven in the Eredivisie and won the the KNVB Cup under Slot last season, Feyenoord has not been able to reach the same heights under Priske.
