Arne Slot has issued a defiant defence of his team and Mo Salah
Arne Slot insisted he will not allow any title complacency after Mo Salah drew another blank of Liverpool.
Runaway leaders Liverpool surrendered their 26 game unbeaten run in a shock defeat at Fulham and 32 goal top scorer Salah has now gone seven games without a goal from open play.
But Liverpool are still 11 points clear of second-placed Arsenal and there is little sense of jeopardy but Slot says his players will have to carry on grinding out results.
Liverpool boss Slot even claimed it has been a slog all season long whereas previous champions Manchester City were smashing teams evert week.

Slot said: “Maybe Mo should take it as a compliment because his numbers weren't normal when he was scoring.
The team that won the league the last four seasons were already 3-0 up at half time in every game they played and that’s the way it is for us.”

Slot’s men took the lead through Alexis Mac Alister but then shipped three before half time and could not turn it around to save their unbeaten record.
Slot added: “I don’t think the errors we made were anything to do with tired.
I can see it now that everyone looks back and says: ‘wow, that first half was a disaster.’ But if you look back, you will see some good moments as well because there were some good moments as well.
The Egyptian's poor run in front of goal continued in west London
"Even at 1-1, I looked and thought: ‘OK, it’s not our best game but we’re on control.’ But then all of a sudden I blinked my eyes and we were 3-1 down.
In the second half, there was a good reaction from Liverpool Overall though, we deserved the three points.”
