In fact, he has invited him back twice already.

Speaking ahead of Liverpool’s clash with Manchester City, Slot confirmed that he reached out to Klopp earlier in the season.

“I invited him to the City and Real home games, but he told me he was somewhere else in the world,” Slot revealed.

Slot made it clear that Klopp is always welcome.

“He can come here any time he wants, to the games or even to this building (at the training ground in Kirkby).”

The Dutchman also acknowledged that Klopp is still enjoying life after stepping away from management.

“For me, he is more than welcome.

In the first half of the season, he was enjoying life with his wife, and at this moment, he has a job to do.”

That job is as global head of soccer at Red Bull, a role that keeps him busy worldwide.

While Liverpool fans may hope for his return one day, for now, Klopp seems focused on his new chapter.

Slot, meanwhile, is ensuring there’s no void left behind at Anfield.
