Liverpool head coach Arne Slot has praised the impact that Wataru Endo has made this season — even though the Japanese midfielder has found his minutes limited in the Premier League.
Endo came off the bench against Wolves to help close the game out on Sunday.

Endo, 32, has not started a single game in the top flight this season, only coming on for a total of 99 minutes across 11 substitute appearances.

He still has two years left on the contract that he signed with Liverpool after arriving in 2023.
"I don’t mind which position I play because I used to play as a defender as well," Endo told LFCTV this weekend when asked how he is managing with reduced minutes.
"I always say the thing I can do is show myself every time I have a chance and keep working hard
If he is happy playing minutes here and there with nothing substantial guaranteed, he can become the new James Milner, filling in as and when he is required.
