Arne Slot chanted Jurgen Klopp's name(Image: Sky Sports)
A jubilant Arne Slot took a moment to tip his hat to Jurgen Klopp after Liverpool won the Premier League title on Sunday.
The Reds clinched a record-equalling 20th domestic title courtesy of a thumping 5-1 win over Tottenham, capping a fabulous campaign under Slot.
The Dutchman has enjoyed a fine maiden season and becomes just the fifth manager in Premier League history to win the title in his first year at the helm, following in the footsteps of Jose Mourinho, Carlo Ancelotti, Manuel Pellegrini and Antonio Conte.
Slot had the unenviable task of following Kop royalty in Jurgen Klopp.
And there were some who questioned what was realistically achievable for the Reds this year after losing their inspirational leader.
Klopp showed his class by singing Slot's name in his final act as Liverpool manager - and Slot repaid the compliment in front of the Kop in one of his first actions after becoming a Premier League champion.
"It's time to send my appreciation back to Jurgen," Slot said, before chanting "Jurgen Klopp,na, na, na, na."
