Liverpool boss Arne Slot left both ex-Reds star Jamie Carragher and former Manchester City defender Micah Richards disappointed after naming his favorite CBS pundit.

The Reds returned to action in the Champions League on Tuesday night, recording a rampant 4-0 win over Bayer Leverkusen.

While the game was 0-0 at the break, a second half hat-trick from Luis Diaz coupled with a goal from Cody Gakpo saw Liverpool maintain their perfect record in Europe this term.

After the clash, Slot was doing post-match media, which saw him end up on CBS's Champions League coverage, fronted by Kate Scott, Thierry Henry, Carragher and Richards.

Unlike traditional post-match media, CBS executives have given the quartet a license to roam when it comes to how they handle themselves on the air.

And it led to ex-City star Richards asking Slot whom his favorite pundit on the show was, with the Dutchman's answer ending up leaving the former, and Carragher, disappointed.

Richards began: "Arne, you know, when guests come on, I always ask, 'Who's your favorite?

I've enjoyed what you've done at Liverpool this season, really enjoy you as a manager so I would like to know your opinion on who's your favorite on the show sir?"

"You what the honest answer?" said Slot, to which Richards immediately replied: "No", whilst Carragher responded: "Yes!"

"That is going to be Kate of course," Slot said, with laughter ensuing from the CBS pundits.

Slot then added: "If I had to choose between the three men, if I have to choose between the three, then Tony who is our press officer would probably tell me I have to choose the one who played for Liverpool, but I come from an era where I watched Dennis Bergkamp a lot for Arsenal, so I'll go with Thierry Henry.

"Thank you coach!" said Henry.

Liverpool.com says: "If we're talking players and their careers, we can't really disagree with Slot...Henry is absolutely the correct pick here from the CBS trio of former players."
