Arne Slot has refused to comment on Liverpool’s interest in Khvicha Kvaratskhelia in January.
The Reds are long-term admirers of the forward, but decided against making a move for the Georgia international when he left Napoli earlier this season.
The 24-year-old ended up joining Paris Saint-Germain in an initial £59m deal, and has since returned two goals and four assists from 10 appearances for the Ligue 1 side.
However, he dropped to the bench for PSG’s 4-1 win over Lille on Saturday, with it unclear if he will return to their starting XI against Liverpool in the Champions League round-of-16 on Wednesday night.

Slot confirmed that he is a big admirer of Kvaratskhelia ahead of facing PSG.
But refused to be drawn on whether Liverpool had been in the race to sign the forward in January, claiming that many transfer stories regarding the Reds are a ‘bit exaggerated’.
“Probably you don’t come from England because in England people say we almost buy every player that there is in the world!” he joked to a Georgian reporter at his pre-match press conference in Paris.
“This is where people like him (pointing to Sky Sports News’ Vinny O’Connor) make their money!
“If you go to England, you see Sky Sports, you see the whole day, everybody, we are interested in almost every player in the world!
I think they even faced Liverpool that season, yeah?
