Previewing Liverpool's clash against Man City, Slot was asked about Nunez during his pre-match press conference.
The Reds head coach gave an honest answer with his verdict on the striker's missed chance at Villa Park.
"It is not the chance but the 20 minutes afterwards that I will talk to Darwin about," he said.
I will tell him that you can miss a chance but you cannot miss out on work rate.
