Arne Slot has expressed his delight at Virgil van Dijk's new contract at Liverpool, while refusing to discuss whether Trent Alexander-Arnold might follow his captain's lead.
Van Dijk committed his future to the Reds on Thursday, signing a new two-year contract to keep him at Anfield until 2027.
The deal followed less than a week after Mohamed Salah also penned new terms, with the duo set to continue on Merseyside for the next couple of seasons.
The pair's extensions are a huge coup for Liverpool and FSG, with both players having been the subject of speculation over the last few months as their contracts ran down.
With the Premier League title potentially just a couple of days away now, Slot has plenty to celebrate.

The Liverpool boss made no secret of his desire to see Van Dijk sign a new contract, with the Dutchman giving his thoughts on his compatriot as he previewed Sunday's game against Leicester.
"It tells you that we want to keep our best players, the players that have played a great season for so many years in a row now," Slot said at his pre-match press conference.
"That we were able to keep them when they are free agents tells you the ambition we have for the upcoming years
Slot wasn't about to give anything away on his future though as fans await some sort of announcement.
"I think you would be surprised if I answered differently now than I have for the whole season," Slot said
"It's nice that we've already done two announcements, and we could talk about that for hours, but if you want to talk for hours about Trent, then for hours it is the same answer.
"We don't talk about these things as long as things are not done yet, and they aren't, so we don't talk in public about his situation."
