Liverpool boss Arne Slot admitted that 'emotions got the better of him' before receiving a two-match touchline ban for his red card against Everton.
In what was the final Merseyside derby at Goodison Park, Liverpool and Everton played out an eventful 2-2 draw earlier this month with James Tarkowski's late equaliser ensuring a share of the points for the Toffees.
Tensions then boiled over after the final whistle, with Curtis Jones and Abdoulaye Doucoure both shown second yellow cards, while Slot was also given his marching orders for his confrontation with Michael Oliver.
The fallout from the aftermath of the derby has now seen Slot banned for two matches and fined £70,000.
Speaking after the match, the Dutchman admitted that emotions clouded his judgement.
"Emotions got the better of me," Slot revealed two weeks ago before his ban was handed out.
But it wouldn't be smart to go into every single incident.

"It felt immediately after the referee blew that we lost two points.
However, he will be able to oversee his side's match against Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League next week when they head to the French capital.

The Dutchman had already accepted the FA's charge of having "acted in an improper manner and/or used insulting and/or abusive words and/or behaviour towards both the match referee and an assistant referee."
An Independent Regulatory Commission has now determined Slot's ban and fine, as well as punishing his assistant, Sipke Hulshoff.
Hulshoff has also been handed a two-match ban and a £7,000 fine after being sent off alongside his colleague.
Liverpool and Everton now face hefty fines of £65k and £50k, respectively, for failing to control their players during the derby.
