Arsenal slipped up again in the Premier League as Liverpool took another step towards earning a 20th top-flight crown.
The Gunners drew 0-0 against Nottingham Forest on Wednesday, a match that kicked off just 45 minutes before Liverpool’s home meeting with Newcastle United.
In Nottingham, it was another game where Arsenal struggled to create attacking opportunities.
Mikel Arteta’s side managed just one shot on target throughout the 90 minutes just four days after they only had two against West Ham United, while it took until the 81st minute to find a way past Leicester City in the previous match.
You’re going to have to set a certain amount of numbers to win this league
And we’re going to have to hit that number if we’re going to have any chance of doing that
But we’re certainly going to continue to try.”
