Liverpool moved one step closer to winning the Premier League title after beating Manchester City 2-0 on Sunday.
That didn't impact the end result, however, as Liverpool moved 11 points ahead of Arsenal in the Premier League, though they have played one game more.
If Arsenal finish second, that could see Liverpool finish a mammoth 16 points ahead of the Gunners and even if that doesn't exactly come in, I think the gap will be 10 points at a minimum.
Arsenal have taken their foot off the gas too many times this season and that is why Arne Slot's side sit in such a commanding position.
However, that does not mean Liverpool can subscribe to that model now and give Arsenal the opportunity to place themselves back in the title race.
The Reds deserve to win the Premier League by a strong margin and it would be unforgivable for them to think they have mopped up the title when they could still be caught.
If you were to ask me who the favourites are, of course I would say Liverpool, but as soon as that gap narrows to less than six points, suddenly it becomes nervy again.
This title race is not over yet but Slot's men are certainly in a good position to go all the way if they carry on their relentless attitude.
Amie Wilson
There’s no doubt that Liverpool are far and out the favourites to lift the Premier League trophy, and I personally would be stunned if they are not celebrating a 20th league title come May.
