Arteta has now shed more light on how Havertz picked up his injury and the "unexpected" nature of the blow.
"We were having a great camp in Dubai, recharging, training, reconnecting with nature," he told the media at his pre-match press conference.

"The fans are hoping as well - you can hear their groans, so you feel that he's in that place where if he doesn't do anything positive, he can hear them coming - and that's not a great place to be."
