Arsenal's preparations for its upcoming Premier League clash with Leicester have been dealt a major blow, as Kai Havertz picked up an injury during the club's warm-weather training camp in Dubai.

The Mail reports that Havertz sustained a hamstring problem during a session earlier in the week, leaving his availability for this weekend's fixture in question.

The German has been in fine form this season, contributing 15 goals and five assists across all competitions to help keep pace with Liverpool.



"I think it was his hamstring and he wasn't comfortable to continue so we'll have to do an MRI scan to see the extent of the injury."

Arsenal may face Leicester without several key players, including Gabriel Jesus, who suffered a season-ending knee injury, and Bukayo Saka, whose return from a hamstring issue remains uncertain

Last month, Arteta expressed cautious optimism, noting, "Tomi has done some stuff on the pitch, but now because it's been a long-term injury, we need to see how quickly he can progress and how he reacts."
