Arsenal legend Martin Keown has warned that the Gunners are in danger of slipping out of the top four.
Wednesday's goalless draw with Nottingham Forest has left Mikel Arteta's side 13 points adrift of leaders Liverpool.
With 11 games left to play, Arteta's men look well-set for a spot in the Champions League next season.
If they don't score goals there is a danger that they might slip out of the top four," Keown told TNT Sports.
"Tonight when you come away with a point you think that is important because it means Forest don't get any closer to catching them.
The Gunners struggled to break down Nottingham Forest as they went a second successive game without a goal.
"They took the game to Forest with 65 per cent possession but they could not find the solutions at the top of the team, but I think with the options that they have been left to pick from that is no surprise in the end."
Boss Arteta was left frustrated with the result at the City Ground.
We insisted but lacked that spark, that final pass to unlock a well organised team," Arteta told BBC Sport.
