Aston Villa have just kept three clean sheets in 25 games this season, while Liverpool have scored in their last 21 matches - including 15 in a row away from home.

He faced the Liverpool right back plenty of times, getting the better of his England team-mate on a couple of occasions at Old Trafford, although Alexander-Arnold was usually in charge at Anfield.

Nike release remake of iconic Premier League ball for rest of season

Starting tonight, the Premier League will use a remake of a classic Nike football for the rest of the current season.

Nike have released a new version of the T90 Aerow I, which was used during the 2004-05 and 2005-06 seasons and became iconic for it’s blue rings surrounding the Nike swoosh on a white background.

It will make its debut on Wednesday night when league leaders Liverpool travel to Champions League-chasing Aston Villa and will be the final ball created for the Premier League by Nike.

Having designed the footballs for the English top tier for the past 25 years, Nike will be replaced by Puma as the official ball supplier from the 2025-26 season, so they’ve decided to go out in style.

Arne Slot: 'We are facing a lot of threat and great individual players'

“We faced [attacking threat] that against Wolves and we are facing that tonight, again, with some great individual players.

"It is an evening game at Villa Park which is a difficult one and the only thing we need to do is compete and bring our level too.
